The Chido Museum

#springitinerary A fairly interesting museum of local culture, architecture, and the like. Very well organised place with super interesting buildings preserved from the Meiji era and an excellent collection of everyday life of people in Yamagata/Shonai area from Meiji until early Showa era. It is a large museum located in lenakashinmachi, Tsuruoka City. Located in the city center, there is ample parking available. The entrance fee is 1,000 yen, but I felt it was a great value considering the content.
