Visit the Cliff Carving of the Great Buddha, Luang Por U Thong

If you're traveling to U Thong District in Suphan Buri, one must-visit destination is the Cliff Carving of the Great Buddha, Luang Por U Thong, located at Wat Khao Tam Thiam. The Buddha statue here is enormous and stunningly beautiful. This site was once a stone mill but has been transformed into a magnificent tourist attraction. The area is vast, with plenty of parking spaces for convenience. There are golf carts available to shuttle visitors from the entrance to the inner area, and you can donate for the ride as a form of merit-making. Inside, there is a cave with Buddha statues where visitors can pay respects, make merit, and apply gold leaf. There's also a skywalk for enjoying the view, though it is not yet open for use. Once it opens, it will be worth another visit. Overall, this place is the signature attraction of U Thong District and left a lasting impression on me.
