Temples, Trails, and Tired Legs

#summervacay So I finally checked out Gajisan via Seoknamsa, and wow, what a wild little journey. It kicks off super chill at Seoknamsa Temple, which is honestly worth the visit on its own. Quiet, peaceful, and tucked into the mountains like something out of a movie. But don't let that calm start fool you, the trail gets real pretty fast. The climb isn’t insane, but it’s definitely not a casual stroll either. There are steep stretches, rocky bits, and spots where I definitely questioned my life choices. But then you hit those ridge views, and all is forgiven. Absolutely stunning. You can see endless layers of mountains and clouds just drifting by like it’s no big deal. The vibe is super natural and less touristy than some other peaks, which I loved. Bring solid shoes, plenty of water, and snacks, you’ll need them. Overall? Gajisan’s a gem. Tough enough to feel earned, but with enough beauty and calm to keep you smiling the whole way.
