WHAT A CITY!

Wow Vilnius has shocked me, prior to my visit I haven’t done much research on what to do in Vilnius as it was a spontaneous trip. Not expecting much as I’ve never really heard of anyone travelling here but wow have u been surprised. My hotel was right next to the train station which is so convenient especially when getting to the Old Town. The Old Town itself is absolutely beautiful full of history and incredible architecture. Definitely walkable as I managed to get through the entire Old Town and the Gediminas Castle Tower in about 3/4 hours. Once you cross the Neris River it honestly feels like you’ve entered an entire new city with skateparks, basketball courts and beach volleyball courts everywhere. I’d highly recommend renting an electric scooter to roam around this part of the city as they’re absolutely everywhere as well as designated bike/scooter lanes making it even easier to travel around.
