We spread out our picnic mat on the lawn, but before finishing her sandwich, our daughter was already chasing butterflies into the woods. As evening approached, the setting sun bathed the entire mountain in a warm orange hue. Standing on the observation deck, we watched the city lights of Xiamen gradually come alive.
