It is surrounded by five neoclassical buildings, and in the center is a "singing fountain" that lights up in various colors to music (). ⸻ 📍 [Location] A key transportation and meeting point in the center of Yerevan, where several major streets such as Abovyan Street and Amiryan Street intersect. It is directly connected to the Republic Square subway station, making it easily accessible. 🕰️ [Visiting time] During the day, the soft pink color of the tukh stone and the marble patterns, and at night, the lighting and fountain show create a fantastic atmosphere. The best time to visit is from 9pm to 11pm from May to October. ⸻ ✨Recommended points • The 5 buildings (Government building, History Museum, Post Office, Marriott Hotel, other government ministries) are lined up in a neat and tidy manner, creating a beautiful sight. • The fountain show is accompanied by music (classical to pop), and the water and light are played to fascinate visitors. • The central oval is decorated with a traditional Armenian rug mosaic, and the design is beautiful even when viewed from the sky. • During the Soviet era, it was called "Lenin Square", and after independence it was renamed Republic Square.
