Since I had limited time and stayed near the airport, I’d like to share a one-day plan to enjoy downtown London. Please use this as a reference! ☀️ [Around 9:00 AM] Arrival at London Heathrow Airport 🛬 Due to time constraints, I took the Heathrow Express from London Heathrow Station to Paddington Station downtown. Surprisingly, what would take an hour by regular bus or train only took 15 minutes! So fast! 👏 (Ticket Info 🎫: Instead of buying a ticket, it’s quicker to use a contactless credit or debit card directly at the gate. Many people were queuing to buy tickets at the airport, so make sure to bring a contactless card ⭐️) ↓ From Paddington Station, I took a bus to Green Park. This large park is located right next to Buckingham Palace! I bought a sandwich at Paddington Station and had breakfast at Green Park ☀️. This park is rich in nature and full of squirrels 🐿️❤️. I sat on a bench to eat my breakfast, but bringing a picnic mat and dining with the squirrels would also be a great idea 💭! Don’t worry, there are plenty of trash bins in the park. [Around 10:00 AM] Walk to Buckingham Palace I wanted to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony, which takes place daily around 11:00 AM during this season, so I went early to secure a spot! 💂🎵 The area in front of the palace and near the fountain was already crowded, so I decided to watch from The Mall, a ceremonial road used for royal parades and state events. This red-carpet-like road offers a great view of the procession after the guard change at Buckingham Palace, around 11:30 AM. It was incredibly impressive and very cool! (Note: April–July: Daily; Other months: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun. Be sure to check the schedule in advance 💡) After the ceremony, I walked to Big Ben, which is about a 10-minute walk. I recommend walking through the park to get there! My favorite photo spot is the "K2 Telephone Box," a red phone booth. While the view of Big Ben from the park is lovely, photos taken from this phone booth give off a quintessential London vibe. The interior is adorable, and on sunny days, you can enjoy the terrace. Such a great lookout spot in London, and it’s FREE. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting the city for the first time because you can see tourist spots like Tower Bridge, The Shard, the river, and other London spots. The ambiance is really calming, so I enjoyed some journaling there. There are plenty of nice seating areas surrounded by lush plants, creating a peaceful garden atmosphere. Washrooms are available, and it’s just a short walk from the Underground. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists.

Our visit to Tower Bridge in London was truly one of the best experiences we had as a family during our trip. The iconic structure is not only a marvel to look at from the outside, but the inside tour adds so much depth and excitement to the visit. Loads of nice little cafes and street food stalls around if you fancy a bite, and the walk towards the south bank or down to St Katharine Docks is worth it too. You get a mix of old-school charm and modern city vibes. Would definitely recommend it for a date, or just to take some beautiful photos.

The British Museum is absolutely captivating, filled with incredible historical exhibitions from around the world. I especially enjoyed exploring the ancient artifacts and learning about different cultures. I also purchased a beautiful map at the entrance which made the visit even more engaging. Without a doubt one of the best museums in London, and totally free! If you’re interested in history you have to check it out, it features four main floors of galleries and then plenty of various war memorabilia in the common areas The three main exhibitions are about - World War One, World War Two and The Holocaust. Then there are rotating galleries for short term exhibitions, currently there are two about photography during war. A very interesting glimpse into how wars have changed over time and how they’ve been documented. The museum is set jn a park and is easy to get to by taxi or bus, if you get the metro you can get the northern or Bakerloo lines to Elephant & Castle or Lambeth North. Well, I also made this question to myself actually as I have seen many things in social media at London is not us refine elegance as it used to be they get to go, but now it’s become one of its kind, diverse multicultural city, yet I have to say that visiting #london at least during the #summer it’s quite a lovely time just to have a good experiencing in the city; While I was there I just stay around the #westminster area and most of the time walk around the neighborhood neighborhoods without any need to use the subway too much to avoid the crowds. I spend most of the time visiting parks and the pubs in the north so overwhelming hours I was really surprised that most of the museums were open for free, which of course the British museum is one of them and it is so wide that it doesn’t feel overwhelming neither to book the restaurants I did my research online and there are some applications that allows you to Book a table in advance like the fork, which makes your selection of the best fish and chips in the town easier as you can already see the price of the menu in advance and avoid any last-minute surprise if you have any question particular for this trip in #uk or in London feel free to send me a message or comments in a section below.
