He was incredibly courteous and answered all our questions, making me feel well taken care of. Our first stop was "Timing Street" (likely referring to Kawaguchiko shopping street or a similar tourist area, described here based on the context). As soon as we arrived, I was captivated by the Japanese-style streetscape. The shops were filled with a dazzling array of souvenirs and delicious foods, tempting me to shop to my heart's content. However, I focused on soaking in the atmosphere and took a few photos to remember the moment. Next, we headed to "Oishi Park at Lake Kawaguchi." Wow! The scenery here was breathtakingly beautiful! The deep blue Lake Kawaguchi and the distant Mount Fuji complemented each other, creating a stunning landscape. The park was planted with various flowers, and although it wasn’t flower season, the lush greenery was still refreshing. I took many photos here, each one as picturesque as a postcard! After lunch, we visited "Arakurayama Sengen Park." This is the perfect spot to enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji! Climbing up to the observation deck, Mount Fuji stood majestically before us, paired with the iconic five-story pagoda. This classic view immediately made me understand why it’s such a popular photo spot. Although climbing the stairs required some effort, the magnificent scenery made all the fatigue disappear. Later, we explored "Oshino Hakkai." This village is composed of eight crystal-clear spring ponds. The water was so transparent that you could see fish swimming leisurely at the bottom. The guide shared the historical stories and legends of this place, allowing me to appreciate the culture while enjoying the scenery. Throughout the trip, what impressed me the most was seeing Mount Fuji’s beauty from different perspectives. From the lakeside at Kawaguchi, to the heights of Arakurayama Sengen Park, and the purity of Oshino Hakkai, Mount Fuji showcased different charms against various backdrops, leaving me in awe every time. Of course, visiting Lake Kawaguchi wouldn’t be complete without trying the local ice cream! I bought one near Oishi Park, and the rich milk flavor and creamy texture were an absolute delight amidst the stunning scenery. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try! If you want to buy half a portion of toast, it is recommended to come early to avoid it being sold out. The texture of the toast is firm and moist, neither dry nor greasy, and has no pigment taste, making it very satisfying to eat! Anyone who has a plan to visit Mt. Fuji Kawaguchiko, come this way. In this post, we will share a plan to travel to Fuji Kawaguchiko as a one-day trip, rent a bicycle to ride around the lake. 📍For this trip, we will start our journey in Tokyo, taking the Fuji Excursion train at Shinjuku Station. We booked in advance 1 month on the JR website (for the outbound trip, we recommend booking a seat on the left side to see the beautiful view of Fuji). 🚊We took the train at 08.30, it took about 2 hours. When we arrived, we walked from the train station to the bicycle rental shop. The shop is near Lawson. We rented an electric bicycle (price 1,600 yen/3 hours 2,600 yen/day) and then started riding. 📍We will pin Oishi Park. - On the way there, we rode towards Azagawa and on the way back, we rode towards Kawaguchiko-ohashi Bridge. - Stop to take pictures at each place you like.
