The atmosphere is super chill, and you can sit outdoors to enjoy the view. It seems that when you come to New Zealand, you have to eat big pieces of meat to be satisfied, so I ordered pork ribs and steak. I don’t know if it is a local specialty, but both steaks were topped with a lot of lettuce. If I had known, I would not have ordered salad separately, as the amount of vegetables was sufficient. The seasoning is very American, the ribs and steaks are delicious, but the best thing is the atmosphere of the restaurant. I remember the day I went to Fox Glacier to do the Glacier Heli Hike. We flew to Upper Glacier in about 4 minutes by helicopter. The scenery along the way was really spectacular. Nice, scenic walk! Very easy terrain. A little wet on the day that we went. It took us 1.5 hr for a brisk walk on the entire loop. A stroll would probably take ~2 hrs.
