A town that jumped out of a fairy tale

Standing in the cobblestone alleys, I felt like I had stepped into the illustrations of a fairy tale. Each building here resembles a meticulously crafted dessert, with white walls and gray conical roofs, tempting one to take a bite. ⭐️The trulli district is most enchanting in the early morning. As the mist dissipates, the first rays of sunlight pierce through the narrow alleys, casting warm patches of light on the white limestone walls. The aroma of freshly baked focaccia wafts from the local bakery, mingling with the faint scent of rosemary in the air. Following the aroma, I entered a small shop where the owner, Maria, told me in heavily accented English that these trulli buildings are centuries old. ⭐️"Look at the symbols on the roofs," she pointed to a mysterious pattern on the top of a trullo, "Each family has its own mark, like a house number today." Lying in bed, looking up at the stone dome, I suddenly understood why UNESCO listed this place as a World Heritage Site—it is not just a town, but a living work of art, carrying the unique wisdom and poetry of the Puglia region. ⭐️❤️As night fell, the town lit up with warm lights.
