Walking tour of the fairy tale mushroom village (Alberobello)

#5月好去地方2025 Alberobello is a town in the Metropolitan City of Bari, Puglia, Italy. The Trullo buildings in the city are world-famous and were listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1996. The characteristic of Trullo is the gray dome "Trulli" built with local limestone; the walls are painted white with lime, and the roofs are made of gray flat stones piled into cones. There are thousands of lovely fairy-tale mushroom houses in this small village of Alberobello! Walking leisurely in the mushroom village, I found that there are various totems painted on the Trulli roofs. There is not much meaning, it is just the personal imagination of the residents and the creation of mystery.
