#Bangkok attractions 🏘Wat Prayurawongsawas Worawihan, a second-class royal temple, was built in 1828 during the reign of King Rama III by Somdej Chao Phraya Borom Maha Prayurawong (Dis), who donated the land that was originally a coffee plantation. It took 8 years to complete the construction. Important and interesting things in the temple include: 🛕Phra Borommathat Maha Chedi, a large round white chedi with a diameter of 50 meters and a height of 60 meters, using the Ayutthaya construction technique by building a central pillar as the main pillar of the construction. It is the only remaining chedi with a central pillar. 🏚Phra Prayurawong Museum (Printhrapariyadasala), a European-style cement building, exhibiting various antiques, especially Buddha images and amulets found in the crypt on Phra Borommathat Maha Chedi, including the relics brought from Sri Lanka. 🏠Ubosot, Thai architecture, with a pediment decorated with a lotus flower pattern. Inside is the principal Buddha image. Phra Phuttha Dhammawichetsasada, Mara-Vijaya posture, with beautiful Buddha features ⛺ Vihara, a Thai-style building with a pediment carved with floral patterns and decorated with colored glass.
