Daejeon’s Double Trouble Trail

#summervacay Decided to check out Hyangjeoksan and Guksabong in Daejeon, and dang, it turned into a mini adventure real fast. The trail kicks off with some mellow vibes, just enough incline to feel like you're doing something without totally destroying your legs. Forest was super calming, lots of shade, chirpy birds, and that earthy mountain smell that just makes you breathe a little deeper. Then you hit Guksabong, and that’s where things get spicy. Some rocky bits, a little scrambling, and you’re up there with wide open views and fresh air blasting your face in the best way. Total 10/10 summit moment. What’s cool is the mix, chill forest stroll + fun rocky climb = no boredom at all. Not too crowded either, which is always a win. Pack a snack, bring a buddy, or just solo it with your playlist. If you’re near Daejeon and need a solid half-day mountain fix, this one’s a banger.
