Gero Onsen Bosenkan (Gero Onsen Bosenkan) Japanese Room 10 Mats (Harf Board)

#Overseas Hotel Gero was my first time staying overnight since I got off only once on my way to and from Takayama, and a local acquaintance drove me to Hida Village, so I only went sightseeing and visited the Hida River Open-Air Bath. Bosenkan caught my eye because it had a view of the mountains, rivers, Japanese gardens, and even the railroad, and I couldn't help but go because the Hida beef special was included in the Jaran Plan. The JR Hokuriku Sightseeing Kitpu had a fun option to get off midway and ride a relay car, which is why I decided to stay at Gero Onsen on the third day. It's a difficult course that takes nearly 4 hours to travel from Toyama to Nagoya by limited express Hida, so this option seems very good. I also stopped by Takayama before going to Gero. You can stop at Hida Furukawa, Takayama, and Gero, but you can't go back to Hida Furukawa after coming to Takayama. Check-in is around 6 PM, and we go to the room to take pictures and rest, and then we have dinner at 7 PM. We enjoy a course meal including Hida beef steak as a kaiseki dinner. After enjoying a delicious kaiseki dinner, we take a walk in the Japanese garden inside the hotel and relieve the fatigue of our legs with a foot bath in the outdoor ashiyu on one side. There is a table in the center like a cafe, so you can lean on both arms and use your phone, which is very convenient. You can also hear the sound of the river and the sound of passing trains. After the foot bath, we go up to the room and there is a single-person futon. We enjoy the atmosphere while drinking tea on the balcony and greet the darkness. After resting, we go to a local bar. This place operates the hot spring 24 hours a day, so you can enjoy the hot spring at any time even if you do not have a room with a private open-air bath. The structure is simple, with an open-air bath and an indoor bath. However, as expected from one of Japan's three major hot springs, the skin reacts first to the good water. After the hot spring, we go to sleep. For once, I get a good night's sleep on a tatami mat instead of a bed. I watch the express train pass by early in the morning and record the slow train passing by on video. I finish the breakfast I reserved and visit the morning hot spring. I check out. A taxi is waiting for me. It kindly takes me to Gero Station. I take a picture of Gero Station and the train enters the platform. I'm going to Nagoya. Thank you.
