International restaurant in the heart of Ieper

#dreamvoyage Brasserie De Trompet is a large restaurant in the city of Ieper or Ypres. In addition to its convenient location, which is right next to the Town Hall, where the In Flanders Fields Museum is located, it is also a restaurant that offers a full range of food and drinks. The menu focuses on international cuisine, with a wide variety. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas to choose from. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit, and there are shields and symbols of various countries hanging all over the walls, as if to show off that they have welcomed many important people from various countries who have come to participate in the Last Post Ceremony in this city. So, as an unimportant person from Thailand, we ordered some food from the menu to try as follows: ****-Menu I tried-**** ➡️ Mini Loempia’s – It is like our fried spring rolls. Both the appearance and taste are exactly the same as those we eat at home. Even the dipping sauce is exactly the same. It adds a high-class feel with the large portions that overflow the plate and the beautiful salad. It's quite enjoyable to eat. ➡️ Scampi Diabolo with Tagliatelle – This Scampi Diabolo menu is a popular dish in Belgium. So when you're in the area, you have to try it. Normally, this menu is shrimp with Diabolique sauce, which is a creamy sauce mixed with tomatoes and a little spice. It's not spicy, but it's delicious and flavorful. It's not too greasy like the usual cream sauce. This restaurant adds pasta to mix in, making the appetizer turn into the main dish. When I tried it, the sauce was delicious and rich. I liked it very much. The Tagliatelle was cooked to al dente, just right. Most importantly, each shrimp was huge and satisfying... I was so happy. ➡️ Grilled Chickenskewer with Greek Pasta and Pesto – Let's try some Greek food. This menu is grilled chicken marinated in spices and skewered with short Greek Pasta noodles, mixed with pesto sauce and sprinkled with herbs. The taste is refreshing and not greasy. It goes well with the salad served with it. The chicken meat is not very tender, but it's not dry and won't make your throat feel dry. It's average. ➡️ Hot Espresso - A little hot coffee to finish off. It's aromatic and strong.
