Hidden Paradise in Qidong! Tang Dynasty-Inspired Stay at Zhouyi Hot Spring Hotel

This trip to Qidong was made unforgettable by our stay at Zhouyi Hot Spring Hotel (Qitangcheng Branch). Inspired by the "Tang Dynasty Palace Music Painting," the hotel features 36 standalone villas scattered around a serene lake, showcasing the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty with their intricate eaves and brackets. At night, when the lanterns light up, it feels like stepping back a thousand years in time. The private courtyard hot springs in each villa were my favorite. The soothing 2,500-meter-deep sea hot spring water was perfect for relaxation, all while enjoying the view of the ecological lake. Our room came equipped with a King Koil mattress and a Dyson hairdryer, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a stunning view of the Zen garden. The attentive butler service even included Hanfu rental and styling, fully immersing us in the Tang Dynasty ambiance. The hotel's "Fragrance Pavilion" and "Yunshui Tea House" exude elegance, and on weekends, you can enjoy traditional cultural performances. While Qitangcheng is just a 5-minute walk away, I preferred the tranquil moments within the hotel. For a luxurious getaway in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this is undoubtedly the top choice!
