It was a truly precious time to be able to do the process with my own hands - harvesting the sugarcane in the sugarcane field, squeezing it with a machine, boiling it over a fire... The most memorable moment was when I took a bite of the sugarcane before squeezing it! It looks plain, but when you bite into it, it's crisp and sweet, and the gentle taste of nature spreads in your mouth. I couldn't believe that this became "that brown sugar"... I was so moved. I highly recommend this to people who like food education and experiential activities! It was an experience that will be firmly etched in my travel memories.
