Christmas in Kutaisi

The name of the city is Kutaisi, we pronounce it as Kutaisi in Thai accent. This city used to be the old capital of Georgia. It also has an airport. It is quite a big city. We went during Christmas when it was quite lively. It took about 5-6 hours to drive from Tbilisi. However, we saw that they were building a highway along the way. It should be much faster from here. There are many shops and cafes to sit and walk around. It has the atmosphere of an old capital with government buildings and McDonald's, which can only be found in big cities. In the middle of the city, there is a river that is starting to freeze, decorated with lots of Christmas lights. There are quite a few young people in this city. #oldtowngorgia
