Exploring the Hidden Charms of Kutaisi, Georgia Just got back from a few unforgettable days in Kutaisi, one of Georgia’s oldest cities — and wow, what a gem! Nestled between rolling green hills and ancient myths, this place offers a perfect blend of history, nature, and warmth. 🕌 Historic Sights & Stories First stop: Bagrati Cathedral. Perched on a hill, it overlooks the city with centuries of silent grace. Even though it's partly ruined, its aura is unshakable — and the views from the top? Breathtaking. Nearby, Gelati Monastery (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) stunned me with its beautiful mosaics and centuries-old scholarship vibes. 🌿 Nature at Its Best A short drive away, we explored Prometheus Cave, a surreal underground world of stalactites and glowing colors. Then, there’s Okatse Canyon — walking across that glass skywalk suspended above the canyon was equal parts terrifying and thrilling!
