On top of the world just a stones throw from San Francisco!

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be top of the world? Feeling like you’re floating above the clouds with only atmosphere standing between you and the stars. This is something you can experience at Mount Tamalpais, just like I did! Located just outside the city limits of San Francisco, Mount Tamalpais benefits from the unique geography of the historic bay nestled on the banks of the Pacific Ocean. On some days, you can enjoy panoramic vistas of the cityscape below. On others, you can benefit from the otherworldly cloud inversions that mean you can step above the clouds and feel like you’re floating on air. This was what I enjoyed on my visit to this natural beauty spot. And what a delight it was! Watching as the sun set over this beautiful spot, I felt so grateful that I added this to my itinerary in what can be a bustling city with a lot to do.
