Jiufen⛰️The charming scenery of the mountain city

Jiufen is a mountain town located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City. It was once the largest gold mining area in Taiwan and the inspiration for many movies and animations. I also went to Jiufen this year and experienced its history, culture, food and scenery, and felt the charming charm of Jiufen. Jiufen is about 50 kilometers away from downtown Taipei, and there are a variety of transportation options available. I chose to take Taipei Bus No. 965, departing from the Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station and arriving at the entrance of Jiufen Old Street in about an hour and a half. The bus fare is calculated based on mileage, and a single trip costs about 100 yuan. The bus service is very frequent and punctual, making it a convenient and cost-effective option. 👍🏻Jiufen Old Street ~ This is the most lively area in Jiufen. Along the undulating streets and alleys along the mountain road, there are many local delicacies, snacks and specialty shops. I have tasted some famous delicacies here, such as Auntie Gan’s Taro Balls, Alan’s Grass Cake, and Jingshan Sweet Food, all of which were very delicious.
