Many political victims were sentenced to death here, or transferred to Green Island or Taitung Taiyuan Prison after a short detention, and some were executed in the park; the "Formosa Incident" was held in the "Military Trial" in the First Court in 1980, and the Director of the Military Intelligence Bureau, Wang Xiling, served his sentence here for the "Jiangnan Case".
