But for us who had the chance to visit Osaka, it turned out to be a city that made us fall in love unexpectedly. And most importantly, the food is so delicious that we have to go back for more! ⸻ Getting to Osaka and First Impressions When we stepped out of Kansai Airport, we felt an atmosphere that was different from other big cities. The friendliness of the people here from the first sight made our hearts swell indescribably. With a convenient transportation system, an easy-to-understand subway, and clear English signs, traveling to our accommodations or tourist attractions was not difficult at all. ⸻ Dotonbori, a colorful and laughter-filled district Dotonbori is the heart of Osaka and the first destination we planned to visit. This street is full of a variety of restaurants, from small street-side shops to famous large stores. Bright neon lights, the cute Glico sign, and the laughter of the people made this area lively like no other. This area has many famous foods that we should not miss. Such as Takoyaki, round balls with a little crispy outside, soft and chewy inside, with big pieces of squid, or Okonomiyaki, which is like Japanese pizza, rich in flavor, so delicious that you forget the time. Every bite makes us feel like we are being hugged by the warmth of this city. ⸻ Osaka Castle with a quiet retro atmosphere After having fun in Dotonbori, we went to find some quiet time. At Osaka Castle, a castle located in the middle of a beautiful garden, surrounded by lush green trees and a clear pond. Walking through the old wooden gate, the retro atmosphere here made us feel like we were transported back to the samurai era of Japan. On the top floor of the castle, we saw a beautiful 360-degree view of Osaka. This beautiful view made us feel like we were flying in the sky. And we could feel the greatness of this city. ⸻ Universal Studios Japan, a dream for both children and adults. For those who love theme parks, Osaka has Universal Studios Japan (USJ) that you should not miss. This is not just an ordinary theme park, but a world of dreams and imagination. We were very excited about the Super Nintendo World zone that made us feel like we were transported into a Mario game. Everything was colorful and the characters were cute. And the music that makes your heart beat faster The Harry Potter zone is no less magnificent Hogsmeade Village and Hogwarts Castle are so realistic that you feel like you've entered the magical world. Butterbeer with its soft foam and sweet aroma is a highlight that we won't forget ⸻ Shopping and cute cafes in Shinsaibashi and Namba Osaka has a variety of shopping spots, especially in Shinsaibashi and Namba Japanese fashion shops, cosmetics, cute cafes, and souvenir shops. Walking around this area is like entering a world of cuteness and various fashions.
