Finally, I got to experience the famous Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival in person! Previously, I had only caught glimpses of it, but this time, I purchased a ticket for the paid lawn seating and fully enjoyed the event. Over 10,000 fireworks paired with music in just one hour—truly a breathtaking summer night! 🚃 Access The venue is within walking distance from Hankyu's "Juso Station" or JR's "Tsukamoto Station." You can also get there from the Midosuji Subway Line's "Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station," which passes through the free viewing area on the grassy field—another great option. 🎫 Tickets & Entry/Exit Tickets go on sale online about two months in advance. I bought a paper ticket on Mercari. The lawn seating includes two cushions and is unreserved, so even if you arrive a bit late, you can still find a spot. For exiting, there's a staggered exit system by area, with the lawn seating being among the last. It took over an hour to be guided to the station and board a train. If you want to avoid the crowds, be prepared to leave before the event ends. 🍡 Food & Drinks The venue is lined with food stalls, giving off a festive night market vibe, though prices are slightly high. You can re-enter the venue if you get a re-entry pass.
