Since Veranda has a real estate background, they seem to know that plenty of pools are enough to attract customers. The hotel has four pools, perfect for photo ops, but only the one in front of The Parlour restaurant and the circular jacuzzi are truly photogenic. The beachside pool is too basic, making the pool villas feel like a poor value (lacking privacy). 🏨 Hotel Environment: The natural scenery is lovely, with fewer crowds. You can kayak to fishing boats or the small island nearby. Ideal for a quiet getaway, perfect for one or two people to unwind. The beach is full of crabs, and the shallow waters teem with small fish. The ebb and flow of the tide create a majestic and serene view. (Heed this advice: wear water shoes and avoid running too fast!) 🗓 Itinerary Tips: The hotel’s beach is called Ao Yon. Though the beach isn’t highly recommended due to its rocky sand, the coastal road is great for jogging and sightseeing. A 10-minute walk south of the hotel leads to a small village with decent, affordable restaurants (around 50–100 RMB per person). The beach viewpoint is a small bay where many people fish—perfect for a leisurely stroll.
