#favouriteitinerary A must go when in Rome, we set aside half a day to make a trip to the Colosseum. Ticketing was slightly stressful as we had to pre-book it online. It's a really popular tourist attraction! There's lots of people everywhere, but you will still get your chance for that perfect insta-worthy shots! IMO, the external looks more grandiose while the internal was kinda shocking. Maybe it's due to the wear-and-tear or how they wanted to show both the complexity of the architecture and the history of the location.
