Rome | MACRO: Free Contemporary Art on Tuesdays! 🎨🆓

#summervacay Today, I want to introduce you all to this "free" contemporary art museum – and I put "free" in quotation marks because it's only free on Tuesdays! 😅 As for me, I'm a bit of a sucker – I didn't go on a Tuesday, so my ticket cost me €6. Besides Tuesdays being free, there are also other free admission conditions (check the last image for details), so if you're not going on a Tuesday, you might want to see if you qualify for free entry in advance! Now, let's talk about my impressions of the MACRO Contemporary Art Museum: Location & Accessibility: It's located in the Salario neighborhood, an "old money" district. There's no subway nearby, but many bus lines go directly there. Via Nizza, where it's situated, is one of my favorite small streets in Rome – it has a very noble feel, and there aren't many cars. For friends living in Rome, getting there is a breeze; for tourists, taking the bus might be a bit of a headache. However, it's not far from Piazza Fiume and the famous "roujiamo" (Chinese meat sandwich) spot! 😉 Entry Policy: Similar to MAXXI, entering the museum building itself is free, so you can freely go in and explore the architecture!
