Should you visit Yu Garden in the morning?

Yu Garden is stunningly illuminated at night, but it can get very crowded. The chances of capturing a beautiful photo without other people in the frame are almost zero. One morning, I woke up early while my family was still asleep. Since Yu Garden was close to our hotel, I decided to take a solo stroll. In the early morning, there are very few visitors. Many food shops are already open, so if your hotel doesn’t provide breakfast, you can come here to enjoy a meal and explore the area. Walking around in the morning feels very relaxing. You can take your time finding the perfect angles for photos. The ancient-style architecture is even more visible in daylight, and it remains beautiful even without the nighttime lighting. Don’t forget to wander into the old streets of Yu Garden. The alleys are great for photography, and while the old street isn’t very long, it’s filled with traditional shops. Unfortunately, I arrived too early, and most of them hadn’t opened yet. 😔 Personally, I think the nighttime view of Yu Garden is a must-see, but the morning visit is also worthwhile.
