【Shanghai Park Hyatt】86th Floor Executive Lounge｜Cloud 9｜Park Salon

The executive privileges at Shanghai Park Hyatt are located on the 86th floor in "Cloud 9," which was converted from half of the original conference room space. This executive privilege is an additional purchase and is not an executive lounge specifically for Globalist members. It also differs slightly from Beijing Park Hyatt's "Park Hyatt Enjoyable Moments"—while Beijing Park Hyatt offers it complimentary to cash suite guests, Shanghai Park Hyatt requires payment regardless of room type. The executive privileges include light snacks (11:30 AM–2:00 PM), afternoon tea (2:30 PM–5:00 PM), and happy hour (5:30 PM–7:30 PM). Veuve Clicquot champagne is available for unlimited consumption throughout the day, and the lobster bisque and beef during happy hour are excellent. The "Cloud 9" lounge sees very few guests—I worked there for two days and mostly had the entire space to myself, making it incredibly quiet. The Park Hyatt brand itself does not typically include executive lounges. Both Shanghai Park Hyatt and Beijing Park Hyatt offer similar paid "executive lounge" services. Compared to Beijing Park Hyatt's lounge, Cloud 9 in Shanghai is equally serene and private, with comparable afternoon tea offerings. However, Shanghai's happy hour is more extensive, featuring both Chinese and Western soups and eight hot buffet dishes, while Beijing offers a five-course à la carte menu, making it relatively simpler. Additionally, Guangzhou Park Hyatt and Shenzhen Park Hyatt do not have dedicated lounge spaces but were among the first to introduce "Happy Hour" (also called "Social Hour") in the Park Hyatt brand.
