Kunshan's Hidden Paradise! A Healing Stay at Peiyuan Homestay

During my business trip to Kunshan, I deliberately booked a stay at "Peiyuan Homestay," tucked away in the lush greenery of the suburbs. To my surprise, it turned out to be a hidden gem! This homestay feels like an oasis in the city. The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I was instantly soothed by the walls covered in climbing plants and the gentle sound of flowing water. The owner personally greeted us and gave us a tour, making us feel like old friends. The rooms are designed in a minimalist Japanese style, featuring wooden furniture paired with handcrafted woven items. There's even a specially designed reading nook by the window, which becomes particularly enchanting when bathed in sunlight. The rooftop terrace was the biggest surprise—at night, you can lie down and stargaze, and in the morning, you can enjoy misty views of Kunshan's cityscape, reminiscent of a movie scene. Breakfast was homemade by the owner's wife, consisting of freshly baked cookies and freshly squeezed juice. Guests can also use the kitchen to brew coffee. The homestay is just a 15-minute drive from Kunshan South Station, and within walking distance of an ecological park. For travelers who love tranquility and want to experience local life, this place is simply paradise. Upon departure, the owner gifted us handmade sachets as souvenirs. This warm and heartfelt accommodation experience left us reminiscing all the way home!
