Lianyungang Fantasy Homestay Experience! "Meet Journey to the West" to Fulfill Your Fairy Tale Dream

During my trip to Lianyungang, I specifically chose the popular homestay "Meet Journey to the West," and it truly brought unexpected surprises! The homestay is themed around the classic story "Journey to the West," and from the moment you step in, it feels like entering a mythical world. The lobby's decor is stunning, featuring a giant Golden Cudgel art installation paired with Water Curtain Cave-style chandeliers, and walls adorned with murals of iconic scenes. The themed room I booked, "Sun Wukong's Flower and Fruit Mountain," was particularly unique—its bed was designed to resemble a stone stool, curtains printed with illustrations of the Monkey King's 72 transformations, and the mini bar was decorated with miniature Golden Cudgel and ginseng fruit-shaped pillows. The highlight was the "Journey to the West-themed breakfast" offered by the homestay, including adorable bread shaped like the four main characters, peach-shaped fruit platters, and even coffee with latte art featuring the Golden Cudgel. The owner, dressed as Tang Sanzang, personally explains local "Journey to the West" cultural tidbits to guests. Located just a 15-minute drive from the Flower and Fruit Mountain Scenic Area, it’s convenient for sightseeing while providing an immersive mythical experience. This homestay is undoubtedly a hidden gem for travelers visiting Lianyungang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves themed accommodations!
