Wulai Yunxian Paradise: A Cable Car Hidden Gem in the Forest

📍Location/Transportation Overview Located by the Nanshi River in Wulai District, New Taipei City, the park is accessible via the Wulai Cable Car (382 meters long, 165 meters vertical drop, approximately 2 minutes and 40 seconds per trip). It is recommended to take the trolley from Wulai Old Street to the Waterfall Station and then walk to the cable car station, which is much more convenient than driving. 📝Personal Experience (Around 250 Words) Stepping into Yunxian Paradise for the first time felt like being guided by an aerial mountain path into a realm of wonder. As the cable car slowly ascended, the view outside revealed winding valleys, waterfalls cascading through the forest, and lush green mist rising and falling like breaths. Upon reaching the mountaintop, it felt like entering another dimension—tranquil lakes, babbling mountain springs, and activities like boating, feeding fish, or simply sitting on the red bridge all helped me forget the fast pace of city life. Children nearby chased frogs and butterflies, while laughter and the sound of arrows hitting targets filled the archery range. During firefly season, there are even nighttime firefly viewing events. My favorite moment was standing by the bridge, watching the stream rush down from the cliff, its coolness washing over me. Yunxian Paradise isn’t a flashy amusement park; it’s more like a natural retreat designed for relaxation—light yet full of energy. Walking along the ecological trails, spotting rare ferns and bird nest boxes, made me realize this place is the forest’s deep breath.
