Located on 9 Penang Road, sits a sophisticated and cosy little cake bar - Edith Patisserie, just minutes walk away from Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Just looking into the cafe from the entrance itself is a feast for the senses, adorned with glass displays showcasing an array of delectable treats from sliced cakes, brownies and many more. Those tantalizing tarts, adorned with various toppings, beckon to be savored, while velvety cakes, each a work of art, tempting the taste buds of passersby, such as myself to fall prey to these sweet treats. I have personally tried one of their exciting flavours, the Gin & Tonic sliced cake and would honestly say that it is very well-crafted with just the right amount of sweetness to complement the hint of gin & tonic added.
